This is video meant to show CATIA's capability in the composites workbench. It's not a training video but it just shows what V5 can accomplish in this growing sector in the industry.

hI.
How can i create a macro to rename parts. For example i have one file with name in folder:
2011_013-001-503_023_01
and i want to make a similar with other name:
2011_013-001-503_023_03.
Normally i make a copy, and then rename the part, open it in CATIA and change name in strcuture again to avoid conflicts. It's possible to create a macro to change the name of the file in structure to the same in the folder?
have you tried Save management?
you also can go Save as>then check the box at the bottom that says Save as new document. this way you don't interfere with the original part. then you can do a replacement at the assembly level.
I'm not really macro expert. they tend to go out of date with new releases.
Hi. It will not work because i have one product, and under this, some sub-products, and under each of this product there are some parts. I have all organized with folders.
Geral Product
Folder1
Product 1
Part1
Part2
Part3
Folder2
Product 3
Part1
Part2
Part3
Folder3
Product 3
Part1
Part2
Part3
Imagine this with 200 parts
and if i make File>Save Management it will save all in the same folder.
did you try using propagate directory option? Also, make sure you're in Design mode. Not visualization mode.
