Autodesk Inventor - How to create a Variable Pitch Coil

This demo shows how to build a Variable pitch coil or Helix cut on a cylindrical shaft. One good application for that is a Feed screw. Note that the original sketch has to always be shown so that it can be selected for axial reference. the final cut was done to clean up the design and make sure of a proper entry cut.

Autodesk Inventor - How to create Projects

In this demo we show how to create a project in Inventor. This is very useful when you have to handle more than one design project at a time. The user can easily switch between projects without having to worry about where files are being stored. Also, it minimizes the need to search for "misplaced" files on your network. It is simple, easy and does not require a guru to use it.
